Machine Learning Scientist London £65,000-£80,000 We’re partnering with an AI-focused start-up in the transport space. They’re looking for a Machine Learning Scientist to join their existing team of 15 technical experts to work on projects using simulation and optimisation techniques, as well as machine learning. THE ROLE As Machine Learning Scientist for the business you will: Use simulation techniques to understand the network in real-time and offer recommendations for real-time interventions Optimisation on resource allocation Use of predictive modelling and deep learning techniques for various other projects with the aim of improving efficiency in the network Take projects from ideation through to deployment and have the ability to work autonomously SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Master’s or PhD in a relevant subject – preferably in Operational Research / Maths / Statistics / Physics Strong commercial experience as a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer working on projects end-to-end Experience working with simulation and/or optimisation Experience working in a start-up or a desire to do so Good communication skills Tech: Python, SQL, Cloud technology SALARY AND BENEFITS Basic salary £65,000-£80,000 London office – required in the office Mondays and Wednesdays Wider Benefits package HOW TO APPLY Please register your interest for this role by sending your CV to Rosie O’Callaghan via the apply link on this page
