Machine Learning Scientist London £65,000-£80,000 We’re working with an AI-driven start-up in the transport sector, looking to hire a Machine Learning Scientist. You'll join a team of 15 technical professionals focused on projects involving simulation, optimisation, and machine learning. THE ROLE As a Machine Learning Scientist, your responsibilities will include: Leveraging simulation techniques to analyze the network in real-time and provide recommendations for interventions. Optimising resource allocation. Applying predictive modelling and deep learning techniques to various projects aimed at enhancing network efficiency. Managing projects from concept to deployment, working independently when needed. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Master’s or PhD in a relevant field, ideally Operational Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics. Proven commercial experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer, delivering end-to-end projects. Background in simulation and/or optimisation. Experience in start-ups or a keen interest in joining one. Strong communication skills. Technical expertise: Python, SQL, and Cloud technologies. SALARY AND BENEFITS Basic salary of £65,000-£80,000. London-based office with in-person attendance required on Mondays and Wednesdays. Comprehensive benefits package.
