They support their Engineers to continuously improve their skills and keep abreast of the latest technologies. About the role This is an opportunity to join one of their agile product teams working as a Senior Front-End Software Engineer. You will be using your excellent JavaScript, HTML and CSS skills to build and support new features adding value for their business. As a Senior Engineer, you will also use your knowledge of Software Engineering to lead the shaping of new projects and support the professional development of less experienced Engineers. There are opportunities to become a people manager for your fellow engineers if that is something that appeals to you. Successful candidates will have a passion for using technology to deliver outstanding and innovative software solutions, and will have a track record of working in teams delivering complex, performant, accessible, high quality software. Essential skills you'll need: Expertise in modern TypeScript, HTML and CSS. Experience of leading and influencing engineering decisions in a complex environment. A structured approach to systems analysis and development. A good understanding of Microservice Architectures. Experience with modern application frameworks such as React. Experience with building fully accessible applications. Experience with building highly performant, scalable applications. An understanding of Agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban. Extensive experience in TDD, pair programming. Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery. REST API/GraphQL consumption. Cloud Platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure. Docker, Kubernetes. CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Github Actions. Application security.
