An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, for an SEO Manager in Cardiff (hybrid working) – for a dynamic and innovative marketing agency. As the SEO Manager your responsibilities will include: Working with multiple agency clients; Conduct comprehensive on-page SEO audits and implement necessary changes for client websites; Optimise website content, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and images, to improve search engine rankings; Perform keyword research to identify high-value search terms and integrate them into client website content; Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms and generate regular reports for clients; Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed in content production; Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices; Develop and implement strategies to improve website speed and mobile performance; Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. Qualifications: - Proven experience within an SEO role, with a strong focus on on-page SEO; - Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEM rush, etc. - Solid understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors; - Excellent knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools; - Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other web technologies; - Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights; - Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail; - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress; - Basic understanding of off-page SEO and link-building strategies. - Experience in e-commerce or working with large websites. - Knowledge of local SEO strategies. The agency uses the following software: SemRush, Office 365, Asana, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads (not required but useful), Shopify, Webflow, WordPress. Required: References / case studies of previous achievements of SEO work that can be talked about on how they made an impact on progress for clients.
