Role: Commercial Lead Contract Term: To 31st July 2025 Location: Remote working with occasional travel to London / Leeds FTC Rate: £ 62,215 - £72,293 per annum plus benefits Grafton Recruitment are working with a public sector client to appoint a Commercial Lead, who will be key to the effective management of their supply base and the delivery of successful commercial outcomes and complex decisions. The role requires demonstrable commercial experience operating with a diverse group of senior stakeholders, consultancy skills, and ability to gain credibility quickly. You will be skilled in understanding and digesting complex and detailed information, in order to offer advice and expertise. You must demonstrate the rounded communications and engagement skills that is likely to result in successfully influencing outcomes. This role will be specifically focused on providing commercial support to digital products & platforms used in organisational transformation. You will require experience in: Commercial contract management Planning, designing and delivering complex and tactical commercial projects. Supplier facing activity and engagement and commercial management of complex contracts. Supporting investment cases from a commercial perspective to ensure they deliver value for money. Supplier cost analysis and supplier due diligence. Creation of strategies and processes for supplier management. Leading on Supplier assessments / supplier audits. Leading supplier negotiations. Strategic outlook and excellent leadership skills Ideally experience gained in digital products or aligned area.
