Cloud Support Engineer - 2nd Line Perm Oxfordshire, hybrid, flexible Competitive salary and bens, including 4 day weeks every other week Leading original equipment manufacturer / engineering firm working on world leading, cutting edge hardware is seeking in-house Cloud Support Specialist (Azure) to help develop, maintain, improve existing IT landscape. Responsibilities Triaging requests, and providing 1st and 2nd line support to a growing user base covering Microsoft O365, AWS and other internal systems Setting up new, and managing PAM (privilege access management) / IAM (identity access management) and user accounts more generally Installing updates and patches, managing software systems and being proactive Configuring laptop builds and making recommendations for improvements Diagnosing and fixing network problems Managing data backups across our estate Working with the global IT team to optimise support processes Developing training materials for internal users Creating and maintaining systems documentation across the estate Essential Skills Great at supporting Microsoft Windows 11 Microsoft 365 administration – 2 years’ experience, including Entra ID, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint administration Laptop automation & configuration Proven work experience as an IT Support Engineer Good attention to detail and adherence to standard processes and procedures Ability to think critically and diagnose software and hardware issues Nice to haves: Experience with Intune MDM Experience with Microsoft Azure Experience with scripting languages such PowerShell MacOS management Experience with managing Meraki infrastructure An interest in cyber security Ability to use network diagnosis tools found in Windows/MacOS/Linux CompTIA or Microsoft certifications Familiarity with working in an ITIL environment If this sounds like you, please don't hesitate to share your CV and up to date contact details with a view to a detailed discussion about the opportunity.
