Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown - $3,034 per week

Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Stepdown Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/28/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Pt Ratios - Gen Care (ratio 1:4) Stepdown/IMC (ratio 1:2) Must have experience in an Academic Level I or II trauma center or similar size hospital Licensure and Certification: Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state. BLS – must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Nurses on this 29-bed unit are skilled in providing comprehensive and specialized nursing care to the acutely ill adult patient who may present with multiple comorbidities, a variety of medical diagnoses, and hemodynamic instability. Specialty populations cared for on the unit include patients with a diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, and post lung transplant. Facility Requirement: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs within the facility. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
