Technical Product Manager Salary: £60,000 – 80,000 Role Type: Permanent Location: London, hybrid (2 days p.w on site) Futureheads has once again partnered with a pioneering B2B scaleup that's driving innovation within the insurance industry. They’re a fully profitable Series B business, whose product is best thought of as no-code developer tool for insurers, giving them the Lego blocks to build models and price (mostly) atypical events - a 'real life’ example is their product was used to insure a space rocket launch Our client is widely trusted throughout the insurance industry and their product is regarded as an essential tool for many of the biggest firms in the UK. And excitingly, they’re now ready to break new ground in the US market, which presents an enormous opportunity for further growth. With the business in excellent shape, they’re sustainability scaling and bolstering their Product Management function, with the goal of fine-tuning the core product, to provide even better experiences for users - actuaries who build and deploy pricing models. It’s highly complex work, with plenty of creative and technical challenges to overcome. Hence, they’re looking to recruit a Technical Product Manager to help them on this journey. To be considered for the role, you’ll need to have come from a technical background (preferably a Front-end Engineer), before moving into product management. Furthermore, you’ll have a track record for improving experience for users of a complex B2B SaaS tool. Therefore it’s important you can balance a technical mindset with user centricity – representing the user, understanding their needs, create personas and mapping / improving user journeys. Requirements: Product Management / Technical Product Management experience in a B2B SaaS environment. Experience working on low-code/no-code solutions is strongly desired Front-end Engineering experience before a career shift into Product. Track record for partnering with design and engineering to improve user experiences on highly complex, technical products. A collaborative way of working. A self-starting attitude: you enjoy managing your own time and work, within a high trust, high accountability, but high-support environment. There’s more information we can share, so if you’re a Technical Product Manager with a Front-end Engineering background, that’s looking to join a successful scaleup business, then please get in touch
