Futureheads are excited to be partnered with a leading data provider for the medical industry who improve information on decisions made across healthcare organisations, from the NHS to pharmaceutical giants. The business uses the best digital platforms to improve the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of information they provide, and currently have over 80 million visitors per year. We are currently looking to bring onboard a Solutions Architect on an initial 12 month fixed term contract (FTC). In this role you would be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft Azure platform solutions, supporting the company’s vision to become the number on provider of medicinal product information. Working as part of a three person architecture team, you will bridge the gap between product and technology, providing subject matter expertise, architectural designs and technical proposals, ensuring they align with the organisations enterprise structure. Role remit: Own the integrity of the architectural solution for company products and projects. Collaborate with product owners, business analysts and senior engineers to interpret requirements and translate into secure, scalable and effective cloud architectures. Design and architect cloud-native applications, microservices and serverless solutions based on Azure resources and configured to company principles/standards. Develop architecture diagrams, technical specifications and implementation plans for solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams throughout the lifecycle of the solution. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing, and identify opportunities to leverage new tools and services. Experience required: Experience working as a Solutions Architect, creating innovative solutions within a business critical and fast paced environment. Background in design and implementing secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions. Expertise in Azure cloud platforms, HL7 FHIR including a deep understanding of their respective services and offerings. Strong knowledge of architectural patterns and practices. Strong understanding of zero trust security, and compliance requirements in the cloud and the healthcare industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Location: Surrey/South West London (Hybrid, two days p/week) Salary: £80,000 benefits, which include 25 days holiday BH, life insurance, family private medical and dental, ongoing software training (inc accreditations), gym and retailer discounts, and more.
