Junior Backend Software Engineer Leeds - 2x a week Salary: Up to £35,000 Fruition IT are working with a well-established tech-first business who are embarking on a complete technical transformation. This client is looking to bring in a team of Software Engineers to work on a bespoke software platform as part of the business growth. As a Junior Backend Software Engineer, you will be surrounded by a team of talented software engineers, putting yourself in a great position to be mentored by professionals in the field, and increasing your technical skills using the latest tech. Developing web applications and systems using JavaScript, Typescript, Node and Terraform. Support continuous improvement and integrations to enhance deployment. Collaborate with senior engineers, architects and tested to develop unit code. Working in an AWS environment. Key Requirements: 1 year experience in a software development environment Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as TypeScript and Node. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team and to your own initiative. Desirable experience: Knowledge of NodeJS Knowledge of terraform as infrastructure as code.
