I am delighted to support an outstanding organisation in recruiting a German-speaking HRIS Specialist to take charge of the HR technology and HR data landscape within an in-house function. The role will see an experienced, fluent German-speaking HRIS specialist, analyst, or manager take charge of several HR IT systems across the board, liaising between HR and IT fluidly to ensure optimisations, integrations, and overall systems maintenance and ownership. This is an exciting role using some bespoke systems, running HR reports within the people analytics space, and ensuring processes are compliant, and controls are in place. Stakeholder management will be key, as you will liaise with German colleagues across the HR and business landscape to support changes, upgrades, and overall continuous improvement. Key responsibilities: Integrate diverse, well-established HR-IT systems into a central HRIS database. Develop and improve existing interfaces with current systems to optimize HR data usage. Create secure, audit-compliant authorization and user management frameworks. Independently coordinate stakeholder requirements, including those from HR, key users, process owners, in-house IT teams, and external service providers. Lead and support the implementation of new developments and system adjustments. Participate in HR-related digitalization initiatives. Ideal Candidate: Extensive knowledge of database structures and data modeling. Advanced technical skills, including experience in software development, system integration, and data analytics. Keen interest in digital transformation and exploring new tools or technological innovations. Proficiency in both German and English is mandatory. Strong interpersonal abilities with a proactive communication style. Openness to frequent travel to Germany. Prior involvement in HR-related projects or familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus. Understanding of IT project management in HR, with a preference for agile frameworks like Scrum. Competency in basic programming languages (such as SQL, and Python) is advantageous. Enthusiasm for harmonizing data models and integrating Big Data technologies. The role offers a competitive package of up to £90,000 p.a. on a permanent basis.
