Network Engineer

Network Engineer Contract - 6 months Day rate - Inside Location - Remote (London Bridge) Tech stack: Cisco, Fortinet, Azure, Microsoft 365, Python. Responsibilities: Providing 3rd line technical support across infrastructure and cloud Overseeing the progression and completion of all incidents, problems, and service requests, ensuring timely updates throughout the process. Working around several migration projects. Designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure network infrastructure solutions. Configuring and troubleshooting network equipment, including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and load balancers. Conducting network capacity planning and optimization to meet business growth and performance needs. Implementing and maintaining security measures to safeguard the network against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other threats. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and enforce network policies, procedures, and best practices. Continuously monitoring network performance, identifying potential issues, and proactively resolving them to minimize downtime and ensure optimal availability. Requirements: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent. CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent industry certification. Fortinet NSE Level 4 Experience with Azure Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization technologies. Experience with Scripting and automation tools (eg, Python, Ansible). Advanced knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions.
