Ford Vehicle and Mobility Cybersecurity is seeking professionals with a strong interest in understanding and resolving technical challenges in the automotive cybersecurity domain. Responsibilities What you'll do Lead technology and security research projects; deliver to internal customers Research and develop concepts and solutions to address cybersecurity incidents reported by industry and research organizations Participate in engineering projects to identify threats and vulnerabilities in our infrastructure, software and system architectures Create storyboards, use cases, proof-of-concept demonstrations, specifications and requirements Perform competitive analyses and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies Actively work with security Partners, Industry, University, and Governmental organizations for information sharing, joint project development, collaboration, and reporting Interact with business customers to resolve support issues and gather business requirements Complete analysis & development of support tasks with quick implementation and resolution Knowledge and practical experience of agile delivery Ability to delivery product roadmap milestones Provide Agile artifacts associated with application components Strong analytical and problem solving skills Willingness to continuously learn Highly motivated professional (self-starter and results oriented) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Develop all tiers, front-end (Angular), back-end and database (DB2), with a paired partner to deliver user stories that contribute to valuable working software products. Use Postman to perform API testing Use Tekton for CI/CD deployments Use Checkmarx/SonarQube/Fossa/42Crunch to identify code vulnerabilities and code quality Improve Continuous Integration tooling by automating manual processes within the delivery pipeline and improving quality gates. Implement tooling that monitors application performance and automatically notifies team when a failure occurs in production Active participant in all team Agile ceremonies Qualifications You'll have The minimum requirements we seek: Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Applications or Computer Science 2 years of experience with Java and Angular Even better, you may have Our preferred requirements: Experience with unit-testing and mock frameworks Experience with common development tools (e.g. git, tekton, GCP, Openshift, postgres) Experience with Agile development processes and methodologies Excellent written and oral communication skills You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
