AI Solutions Engineer

As we evolve our platform with integrated AI capabilities—including the incorporation of existing, pre-trained AI engines—we are seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to drive this transformation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams—including Full Stack Developers, AI Engineers, and DevOps specialists—to design, develop, and integrate AI-driven features that enhance our platform. You will be responsible for leveraging cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art methodologies, ensuring seamless operation alongside our modern frontend and backend systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and fine-tune machine learning models that address operational challenges in emergency response, predictive maintenance, and process optimization. Work with third-party AI service providers and pre-trained models to integrate existing AI engines into our platform, tailoring them to meet our industrial safety and emergency response requirements. Collaborate with Full Stack Developers to integrate AI components with frontend technologies (Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS) and backend systems (Node.js with Express/LoopBack APIs). Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable efficient communication between AI services and web applications. Utilize databases (MariaDB and IndexedDB) for structured and client-side storage, ensuring efficient data synchronization and offline-first strategies. Leverage CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and version control (Git) to deploy and maintain AI solutions. Implement robust error handling, logging, and secure coding practices. Optimize performance, ensuring scalable deployment and seamless operation of AI solutions across the platform. Keep current with the latest advancements in AI, including transformer-based models, transfer learning, and cloud-based AI services. Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and best practices to enhance our platform’s capabilities. Qualifications & Experience: 3 years of experience in AI/ML development or a related role, with demonstrable experience in deploying production-level AI models. Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. Solid understanding of full stack technologies including: Frontend: Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility. Backend: Node.js (Express, LoopBack API), RESTful API development & integration, authentication & authorization methods (JWT, OAuth), as well as error handling & logging. Database & Storage: Experience with MariaDB (SQL queries, optimization, indexing) and IndexedDB for client-side storage; familiarity with offline-first data synchronization strategies. DevOps & Tools: Experience using Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps). Demonstrated ability in integrating pre-trained AI engines and third-party APIs into existing platforms. Expertise in advanced AI skills, including transfer learning, fine-tuning of pre-trained models, and familiarity with modern deep learning architectures (e.g., transformer models). Excellent debugging, performance optimization, and secure coding skills. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
