Acetic Acid, C2, VAM Specialist, Principal Process Engineer

We are seeking a Process Engineering professional with extensive C2 chemical experience. The role is ideally based in the UK, but highly qualified individuals may be able to be based anywhere in Europe. What you’ll be doing As a Senior Technology Manager (Principal Process Engineer equivalent), your technical sales support will be crucial to closing new business. Your day-to-day activities will range from providing a management-level point of contact for key customers to unearthing competitive intelligence that will enable improvements to existing technologies – with a particular focus on Acetic Acid technology. This is an emerging technology and at this stage, the role will be highly technical, focused on research and development and the advancement of acetic acid and C2 chemistry. You will play the role of evagelist within industry and technical authority within our client business. A bit about you Ideally, you’ll be based in the UK. You’ll have extensive (15 years’) Chemicals technical and/or operations experience in the hydrocarbon processing industry and C2 chemicals (Ethylene, Acetic, Ethyl acetate). A few other key skills our client is looking for: Degree Level Educated from an accredited institution in chemical (preferred) or another engineering discipline 7 years of working with Acetic Acid and or C2 derivatives Excellent technology experience in chemical technology offerings and or research and development Experience with global licensing is a plus A keen commercial eye Have strong client and partner relationships Evidence of ongoing learning and development Excellent fluency in spoken and written English Highly motivated and target-driven Want to hear more?
