About the role: As a Cobol Software Engineer you will work with banking technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications. What you will be doing: Good hands on experience on Cobol/VSAM/Oracle/DB2/Unix Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements. Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications. Develop core versions of software applications for external clients in SaaS as well On-premises. Identifies Business and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design and development/enhancement to software. - It translates to being engaged in several projects with focus on timely delivery, quality, productivity. - Knowledge on Java /MQ/REST Service an added advantage - Domain Knowledge on Investment Accounting would be an added advantage. What you will need: Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards. Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations. Fluency in sequence diagrams, class models, etc. Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines. The pay range for this full-time position is $129,990.00 - $218,380.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
