The Role The primary focus of the role is to lead the team responsible for all aspects of IT Governance relating to Security, IT Change and Service Management, Portfolio Management, Service Desk and Systems Administration. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing an IT governance model and processes to achieve a flexible and collaborative approach to IT Delivery and Service and to lead engagement with stakeholders external to IT to understand and deliver business requirements. Key Duties Principally this role is to lead the service, governance and corporate IT teams, focussing on people leadership and collaboration with the technical delivery teams and business partners Service Management: Build close working relationships with business partners to ensure services are delivered to SLAs and business priorities and strategy Information Security & IT Risk: Ensuring that the correct policies and procedures are in place to meet PCIDSS and ISO27001 standards taking a risk-based approach throughout IT and the wider business to maintain an appropriate security posture Change Management: Optimise and maintain a flexible change management process aligned to an Agile development methodology Portfolio Management: Manage the process to define the IT Delivery Portfolio and associated reporting. Corporate IT: Set and maintain standards for the IT service desk and associated desktop support. Develop the team leads professionally utilising a coaching style Work with Business Owners to develop IT Delivery Portfolio Manage IT Risk and IT Roadmap Sets Change and Service Policy and monitors Manages the internal Corporate IT, including rate setting and management, Service Desk and Desktop Support Ideal candidate profile Strong people management experience with ability to motivate teams with diverse skill sets. Has a coaching style able to give and receive feedback in a positive manner Knowledge and experience of IT governance and change with ability to collaboratively improve standards Solid understanding of IT Change and Service Delivery best practises and processes Experience of delivering high quality service to customers/stakeholders Degree-level qualification, preferably in IT related discipline. High enthusiasm, creativity, and a desire to work with an innovative team. High level of planning, liaison and consulting skills. Strong time management and self-organisation in dealing with multi-tasking. Calm and effective under pressure. Seeks to build strong relationships with internal customers and software vendors. Proactive, confident and self-motivated. Approaches work with a can do approach.
