Senior Data Analyst

Data Senior Analyst London – hybrid Salary - up to £75K Equity Permanent HL11522 Finatal is currently partnering with a rapidly expanding B2B SaaS enterprise in the Tech/Data sector, they have doubled in size in the past year, following a substantial £20 million VC investment. This pivotal position involves maintaining and enhancing client relationships by ensuring optimal product utilisation and data analytics for commercial impact. Working closely with external stakeholders, the role focuses on providing critical insights for key business decisions across various functions, leveraging your expertise in analysis and data-driven strategies to influence both existing operations and foster new business development. Role: Reporting to the Director of Data you will be hands-on and strategic – 50% of the role will be client/ stakeholder management and 50% technical end-to-end delivery. You will analyse large and complex data sets for a range of businesses, building visualisations to enable clients to see the value of data, guiding them on decision making and bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to lead the project management, including the planning scheduling and execution as well as identifying potential opportunities to upsell. You will get the opportunity to mentor junior members of the team helping to upskill them. Requirements: Strong experience in a data analytics role or delivering insights to enable better decision-making, including experience using visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Exceptional communication skills, examples of working with a range of senior and junior stakeholders both internally and externally are a must. Track record of strong technical ability, expert knowledge of SQL, and experience with data modelling e.g., star schema or Kimball, ERD Diagrams and data lineage documents. Experience working with external stakeholders or consultancy experience for over a year. Beneficial to have worked with e-commerce businesses in the past.
