This role offers a unique opportunity to work on 0-to-1 products that will redefine how teams across the globe create, manage, and collaborate on digital content throughout the entire development lifecycle. You'll work closely with design, product management, and research teams to help our users turn imagination into reality by radically streamlining how ideas transform into products - and you will do so in a way that keeps simple things simple, while making complex things possible. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. What you'll do at Figma: Lead the development and launch of new features and products, from ideation through to shipping. Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, content marketers, designers, and researchers to define and execute on the product roadmap. Engage in brainstorming sessions and technical discussions that influence the direction of our strategy. Contribute to and drive the technical vision for our next generation of products and frameworks, working in a dynamic environment where iteration and candid feedback are essential. Participate in all stages of development, including engineering and design crits, code reviews, and user testing, to ensure we build something that truly delights our users. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement. We'd love to hear from you if you have: 5 years of experience in programming languages (Typescript/Javascript, React, C++, Python, Java, Objective-C, Go, or Rust) Proven track record of shipping user-facing features or products that have made significant impact. Ability to independently collaborate across functions, including PM, design, marketing, and other engineering teams. Experience with the full development lifecycle, from concept to launch, including go-to-market strategies. A passion for mentoring and elevating the technical skills of your peers. While not required, it's an added plus if you also have: Experience working with complex data models and applications that require dynamic, user-facing content delivery at scale. Experience leading development on large-scale web applications or native applications. Familiarity with product design and the user research process, and the ability to engage with these functions to do your best work. Demonstrated fluency in React, C++ and WebGL. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
