Network Infrastructure Specialist Are you a hands-on network expert with a passion for building and maintaining large-scale infrastructure? If so, this opportunity is for you What You’ll Do: Configure, deploy, and support network switches, wireless access points, structured cabling, and voice infrastructure. Work closely with vendors and end-users throughout the project lifecycle. Design, install, and maintain technical network infrastructure, including structured cabling, cable management, and connections. Oversee technology-related construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality and technical standards. What You Bring: 4 years of hands-on experience in designing, pricing, installing, and supporting large-scale network/cabling infrastructure in an industrial setting. Exposure to Cisco switching, VoIP, and enterprise wireless systems. Knowledge of industry codes and standards (TIA/EIA-568, Occupational Health and Safety Act). Post-secondary education in Computer Networking or a related field. Cisco certifications (CCNA – Voice, Wireless, Routing & Switching) are an asset. Structured cabling certifications (Belden, Panduit) are an asset. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with IT processes, change management, and quality assurance. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage small projects, define requirements, and develop scope-of-work documents.
