DSP Software Engineer | Semiconductor Company | Audio Codec A leading multinational semiconductor company is currently hiring a Principal DSP Software Engineer in Edinburgh, Scotland. A global leader in microcontrollers, analog, power and SoC products, this is a great opportunity for a principal-level software engineer. Key responsibilities: Work on design, development, integration, evaluation and verification of DSP audio filters and algorithms. Design, development, integration, and verification of DSP embedded solutions. High-quality design and code delivered within agreed timescales. High-quality tests delivered within agreed timescales. Customer acceptance of Renesas solutions with proven and measurable compliance to specifications. Ability to drive, regulate, and prioritize activities to ensure timescales and goals are met. High-quality technical documentation is complete and maintained. Reduction in code maintenance Increase in code reuse Key Requirements: Excellent knowledge of DSP, MCU, IC, and audio codec architectures. Excellent knowledge of embedded architectures and real-time embedded software. Fluent in real-time embedded C/C++ programming with in-depth knowledge of DSP algorithm development. Good debugging skills. Good competency in Python and/or MATLAB. Report bugs using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA. Desirable Experience: Good knowledge and experience in audio, digital filtering, and portable audio applications such as headphones and wireless earbuds. Good experience in optimizing DSP solutions for low footprint, low latency, and low power applications. Previous team leading or technical leading experience. Familiarity with CI tools such as Jenkins Experience using SystemC Interested?
