Datacenter System Software Architect

Datacenter System Software Architect European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading tech company, based in London, who are looking for a Datacenter System Software Architect to join their team. In this role you'll drive the end-to-end delivery of systems software for the company datacenter infrastructure. Responsibilities as Datacenter System Software Architect : As a Datacenter System Software Architect , you’ll be the bridge between various teams across countries, working closely with people from data center infrastructure team, computing resource management team, SRE team, end business teams in different area, driving the stability engineering, performance optimization engineering, and new direction of system level hardware and software co-design. Initialize and manage a variety of complex, cross-functional programs and lead all aspects of assigned programs delivery. Create and maintain the roadmap for the team. Define the way of driving these programs and constantly find ways of improving them in a data-driven manner. Requirements: BA/BS degree or above. Many years of deep system software background (OS / Kernel / Storage / Networking / Compiler). Good understanding of datacenter system software knowledge, including but not limited to server architecture, CPU/GPU architecture, server firmware, OS, Linux Kernel, datacenter networking, datacenter storage or compilers. Desirable Experience: Effective communication skills to handle comms to teams, management and cross functional stakeholders at all levels, and a proven track record of getting things done/shipping projects. Experience working in a fast-moving environment where self-motivated, autonomy and self-decision making is needed (to an extent) and juggle between multiple projects/tasks. Experience working in multi-time zones, multi-culture is preferred Passionate about the Internet industry and willing to grow with the company in the process of learning by dealing with emerging global issues and challenges.
