DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DeVops Engineer to play a critical role in automating and streamlining the software development and deployment processes of our Sacramento, California client. This is a Hybrid role requiring you to be on-site several days/wk. with the client's development, QA, and operations teams to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring/alerting systems. Your expertise in GitHub, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Runner will be essential in ensuring smooth and efficient workflows. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform Configure and manage GitHub Runners for efficient and scalable build and deployment processes Collaborate with development teams to optimize workflows and improve efficiency Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and performance Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build, deployment, and infrastructure Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in DevOps Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role Strong experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Runner Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python) Strong experience with IaC tools like Terraform Strong experience with AWS cloud platform Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible Certifications in AWS
