Senior DevOps Engineer (£85k)

Salary: Up to £85,000 plus bonus We’re delighted to be working with one of the best tech teams in NI to recruit for a Senior DevOps Engineer for their team. Our client is a fast-growing, global scale up that is well established in NI and their software makes a tangible difference to improving peoples lives. If you have strong DevOps Experience, particularly working with AWS and Terraform, this could be the role for you The Role Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform and AWS. Cloud Management: Manage and optimise AWS services, including EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, and more. CI/CD Pipeline: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI to automate deployment processes. Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. Security: Ensure security best practices are followed, including IAM roles, security groups, encryption, and regular audits. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure that applications are designed with scalability and reliability in mind. Required Skills Desired Criteria 5 Years DevOps Experience AWS Expertise: Strong experience with AWS services, architecture, and best practices. Terraform: Proficient in writing, testing, and deploying Terraform code for infrastructure management. CI/CD: Hands-on experience with setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines. Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or similar. Containerisation: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Configuration Management: Familiarity with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
