Enso Recruitment are delighted to be working closely with one of Northern Ireland’s most successful artificial intelligence based Green-tech Software companies who are currently going through a period of rapid growth, to recruit for the role of Senior Technical Delivery & Support Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced customer facing Application Support Engineer or Software Engineer to take an integral role in designing, developing, supporting and delivering product features, functionality and APIs for their clients and partners. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with internal teams to establish software support requirements. Develop and implement software support SLAs, where applicable. Gain a comprehensive understanding of deployments, sites, and sensors Prioritize and execute Issue and software support tasks efficiently. Contribute to the development of Event, Incident, and Service management processes. Manage customer events and incidents in accordance with established procedures. Design, implement, and source systems, tools, and processes to support operational needs. Define and outline software support requirements for both Delivery and Operations. Participate in onboarding new customers to ensure smooth transitions. Work within agile development frameworks, taking ownership of software support requirements by implementing the necessary tools and methods. Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues to restore customer services. Utilize support tools to triage and address raised issues effectively. Take ownership of support processes, continually improving efficiency and optimizing approaches. Drive the automation of processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Required Experience 5 years experience in a software support role or a software developer role involving customer delivery support considerations Experienced in at least one of the main cloud technologies – AWS, Azure, RedHat, GCP, IBM Cloud (AWS Preferred) Strong working knowledge of Linux Exposure to Python is desirable but not essential for success Experience of Support tools and Service Desks An understanding or experience of high availability, business continuity and disaster recovery solutions in the cloud Strong communication skills Curious and willing to onward develop and learn in ML/AI area.
