Role Description The role configures, implements and integrates our process automation application with our ERTM (Energy Trading Risk Management) tool. This will be crucial in liaising across our global group, primarily Australia, as we bring the tool into the EU market. Energy One looks to expand our product offerings, focusing on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) markets to support the drive with renewable energy. The role will require a mix of Business Analysis and technical implementation skills. Technical workflows will be built using a process automation tool dedicated to the energy industry. The role may also expand into developing the application to suit the EU market needs. This could include product ownership and helping our Australia product team. You could also use your own skills to integrate via API into the application and writing bespoke code or algorithms to suit market or client requirements There will be some travel required. Key Responsibilities Work across primarily the UK team, expanding into the EU team to understand the market requirements for BESS & PPA management and workflows Working across the Energy One global teams to understand and master the application configuration and development will require you to effectively build workflow management via the process automation application. Supporting our business with pre-sales demonstrations to showcase the flexibility of the tools and integration back into the ETRM application. Supporting client Implementations across the full project lifecycle – including Requirements Gathering/Analysis, Configuration and Training Undertake market analysis to support the design, development, and configuration of our evolving solutions and how we can bring the technology over from Australia into the EU market, this is expected to involve: -analysis of PPA evolutions and what is the best fit for the client scenarios -analysis of BESS and where the application fits with our EU product range across the ETRM and the market notification systems to the DNO and TSO across the UK and EU Support the design of new solutions for our automated asset trading and optimisation solutions. This is expected to include: -prototyping -development of detailed functional specifications for developers -liaison with developers and testers -testing of delivered models. Qualifications and Experience A proven track record in implementing/managing change and solving complex problems Experience in a Business Analysis / Implementation Consultant type role or strongly relevant experience in a Software Development environment Degree in Engineering or Science Excellent writing skills. Excellent presentation skills. Strong technical skills in data extraction and manipulation and programming or scripting (using technologies like SQL, Python). Desirable attributes Understanding of grid scale batteries and renewables. Experience and knowledge of energy trading and trading operations.
