Infrastructure Services Engineer Exec Advisor Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Highway 360, Suite 300, Grand Prairie, TX 75050 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm The Infrastructure Services Engineer Exec Advisor will research, design, test, and evaluate new cloud technologies, platforms, and strategic partner products and services. How you will make an impact: • Leverage cloud native and third-party tools to troubleshoot complex application issues. • Provide advanced expertise in all stages of software development, release, and operations. • Develop Terraform modules to support application teams and provide the necessary security guardrails. • Develop CI/CD pipelines and branching strategies to enable automated provisioning of cloud resources to test and prod environments. • Develop self-service capabilities to empower application teams. • Document instructional guides to reduce learning curve for service consumers. • Create and review technical and/or functional specifications for development efforts and oversee the end-to-end successful execution of those specifications. • Perform technical design reviews and code reviews, to include cloud-based architecture and integrations. • Demonstrate and lead development of CI/CD and DevOps best practices and compliance. • Propose opportunities to improve results based on targeted or continuous assessment. • Participate in enterprise planning activity, including vendor assessment, technology platform selection and retirement, prioritization, and integration. • Stay current on cloud best practices and bring them to the attention of leadership for future progress. • Articulate advanced multiple cloud environment infrastructure (Compute, Storage, Network, Backups, DR, and Monitoring). • Interface with software vendors for support as well as application and infrastructure teams. • Executes effective interpersonal skills, and teamwork attitude, and drives collaborative initiatives. (Ref813409) Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Ten (10) years of experience in related occupation(s). Additional Requirements: Ten (10) years of experience must also include: • Ten (10) years with one or more of the following: Information Systems, Computer Networking, Telecommunications, Systems Development And Management. • Requires seven (7) years of Cloud Engineering experience with any one or more of the following: AWS, GCP, or cloud platform Azure. • Requires two (2) years of the following: Source Code Management and branching usage. • Architecting DevOps-based CI/CD deployment pipelines. • Requires one (1) year of experience in the following: Terraform module development, Terraform Enterprise or Terraform Cloud; Programming language in Python, Java, and Go. • CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certification, GCP or Azure Certification.
