POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to oversee and manage our comprehensive restaurant technology stack, including the point of sale (POS) system, kiosks, customer review platforms, loyalty programs, gift card management, and online ordering platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless integration across all systems, support new store openings, and provide ongoing technical support at the store and restaurant level. This role will also serve as the primary liaison between our in-house team and our broader IT department to ensure smooth operations and system enhancements.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
POS System Management:
Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the restaurant’s POS system, ensuring smooth daily operations and full integration with other systems.
Kiosk and Customer Review Platform Management:
Manage the setup, updates, and support for self-service kiosks and customer review platforms, ensuring they are functioning properly and integrated with the POS system.
Loyalty Program and Gift Card Management:
Administer the restaurant’s loyalty programs and gift card systems, ensuring they are properly synced with the POS and customer databases.
Online Ordering Platform Management:
Oversee the restaurant’s online ordering system, ensuring that it is fully integrated with the POS and providing a seamless customer experience.
Integration Management:
Ensure all third-party platforms (loyalty programs, customer review systems, gift cards, kiosks, and online ordering platforms) are fully integrated with the POS system and that all data flows smoothly between systems.
New Store Opening Support:
Collaborate with the operations and IT teams to support the technology setup for new store openings, ensuring the deployment of POS systems, kiosks, and related platforms.
Technical Support:
Provide ongoing technical support at the store and restaurant level, addressing any issues with the POS, kiosks, customer review platforms, loyalty programs, and other integrated systems.
IT Liaison:
Act as the primary point of contact between the restaurant operations team and the internal IT department, communicating system requirements, issues, and enhancements as needed.
Ongoing System Maintenance and Updates:
Ensure all systems are kept up to date with the latest software versions and that they adhere to company policies for security and data protection.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Respond to and resolve technical issues quickly, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient operation of all customer-facing and backend systems.
