Exciting opportunity for a Senior PMO to join this global Energy company. This is an exciting time to be joining this world-leading company as they transform themselves from a traditional Oil & Gas company into a leading name within the Renewables sector. This includes the creation of an already highly successful new Power Trading desk within the Energy Trading team as well as new ventures into various innovative solutions around the supply of Renewables including wind farms, electric vehicle charging, solar panel heating and battery storage. These innovative solutions provide opportunities for exceptionally highly talented individuals to contribute to the success of this transition where you will be working with some of the best people in the industry working on new and ground-breaking initiatives utilising the very latest technology. About The Role: Sits within a large, multi-year ETRM transformation programme. The activities of the PMO are centralized around resource and work planning & control, budget management, change management, reporting, and product quality control. Responsible for overseeing a team of 5 PMO Analysts so you need to be able to create workflows that work rather than just following the processes. Understand the Project Delivery Framework (PDF) and how to apply both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies within the framework. Produce project reports and ensure that status reporting is fit for purpose, complete, timely, accurate, and communicated effectively. Your Background Needs To Include: Strong Financial governance experience, with large budgets is essential. Energy Trading or Commodities Trading background highly desirable but not essential. Ability to work independently and take responsibility for governance and reporting - not "tick box" or following a template. Confident working with a diverse group of stakeholders, at all levels of seniority. Degree educated. This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
