Essential Job Functions Directly and indirectly Lead global multidisciplinary teams for multiple projects, customers, and engagements. Oversees strategy and operations of cloud technology (primarily AWS), servers, storage, backup, and networking Oversees cloud transformation projects of internal and customer datacenters to public cloud. Develops and maintains communications with the customer, management, and staff to ensure that service is delivered on time and within budget or contractual obligations. Prepares, recommends, and oversees development of operating and personnel budgets and associated customer pricing models. Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans and manages variances. Performs budget analysis. Selects and hires team members. Coaches and develops team members to enhance their performance and work product. Leads other technology hosting business and technical initiatives as needed. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 10 years of information technology or computer operations experience 5 years with Public Cloud Administration (AWS Preferred) 8 years with S ystems Administration and Storage (Windows, Linux, SANs, NAS) 5 years with Networking and Directories (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, LDAP) 3 years with Monitoring tools 3 years of software development, SDLC, and DevOps experience 3 years with Databases (SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSql) Other Strong leadership skills to oversee multiple projects, operations, and accounts. Strong human relations skills to select, develop, and mentor, team members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization and time management skills. Ability to simultaneously oversee many projects and commitments. Ability to rapidly learn new systems, architectures, environments, and projects with limited. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks. Proven direct experience with transformation projects. Certifications Preferred (Azure, AWS, CISSP, and/or PMP). OTHER NOTES: 10% travel NOT a delivery lead Must have STRONG technical understanding of cloud, datacenter, and networking Work Environment Remote Up to 10% travel requirements Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $131,300 - $243,800. Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
