Senior Project Manager Reports to: Head of projects Based at: Stratford-Upon-Avon Salary: £38k - £42k Our client is an award winning exhibition business. Across the world, they design and build exhibition experiences that disrupt, excite and delight. From large-scale exhibition stands to pop-ups, brand activations and the latest event technology, they help companies make measurable impact. Purpose: To be responsible for organising the technical and operational output for the business project delivery and, on occasion, Interiors. The overseeing of project delivery from client briefing to onsite intallation. Working alongside the creative team to manage the process and client budgets with a focus on feasibility and ROI for all parties. Maintaining highly professional operating standards throughout. To assist, where necessary, in certain aspects in the setup of the project management function, specifically process, delivery and team build. Managing the function so that the environment, culture, team, capabilities, tools, processes, expectations, work style and other elements support the strategic goals of the group. Ensure the function operates in an efficient, profitable manner. To understand and respond creatively to a project. Ensure that responses are of a continually high quality and production is upheld, maintaining consistently high standards for him/herself and others on the team. Delivering strong solutions that help our clients meet their objectives. Managing budgets and ensuring margins are maintained. Understanding of supply chains and coordinating multiple partners/suppliers. Identifying best value and best solution. Identifying opportunity. Assure that client deliverables are on time, professional, engaging, persuasive and supported by sound rationale. Collaborating and contributing to the project process as part of a team. Attend, as and when required, briefing, pitch presentations and site visits. Responsible for understanding and gaining knowledge of build regulations. To make and maintain regular contact with all partners and suppliers to ensure communication is affected through the correct channels by both telephone and/or email. Working with technology, new technology and maintaining an open mind to learning new skills. Attend team meetings and report activity. If absent (site work/vacation), ensure status activity is handed over prior. Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships. Continued self-development within the role. Attending training programmes in accordance with effective performance of the current role. This role requires periods of site work (with overnight stays), overseas travel and weekend work. Key Skills Excellent communications both written and verbal to management level. Numerical skills. Literacy skills. Organisational and planning skills. Ability to think in 3Dimensions. Knowledge of design software packages an advantage. Knowledge of all Microsoft products, Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint. Key Attributes Be imaginative and creative. Passion, integrity and energy.
