If so, we should chat… Role: Senior Project Manager (Investment Operations) Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 Hybrid Working: Office visits when required Location: Telford or Edinburgh The Role We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong structured project management skills and professional certification. You will join a team within the Investment Operations domain, focusing on IT platform changes in the context of Life and Pensions funds. What You Will Be Doing Manage multiple complex projects using both agile and conventional waterfall methodologies, ensuring timely delivery within challenging constraints. Utilise your expertise in Agile (Scrum, DSDM) and structured delivery (Prince 2, MSP) methodologies to drive project success. Operate within a structured project delivery environment, leveraging agile principles when appropriate. Maintain strong governance and PMO functions, managing a complex stakeholder matrix and support matrix spanning multiple IT disciplines. Focus on detailed task management and low-level milestones using tools such as MSP, 6WLA, and structured reporting. Oversee the full lifecycle of projects, from IT strategy and roadmap development to business case development, initial planning, and benefits delivery. Engage multiple stakeholders and SMEs in a complex environment, ensuring effective communication and influence. What You Will Need Extensive experience in project management within a structured project delivery environment, with significant expertise in IT platform changes within Investment Operations. Extensive experience within Financial Services. Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects, including IT strategy development, business case development, and benefits delivery. Strong understanding of Agile and structured delivery methodologies, with relevant certifications.
