The role: We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Reporting & Analytics CoE to transform and lead our Centre of Excellence. The ideal candidate will be a leader with a proven track record in transformational leadership, data management and governance, reporting and analytics. The Head of CoE will play a pivotal role bringing to life our vision for reporting and analytics, driving data-driven decision-making in Central Business Services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality reporting and analytical solutions across the organization. Essential Experience : The Head of Reporting & Analytics CoE is a senior-level position that requires extensive experience in management reporting, transformation, senior stakeholder engagement and team management. 10 years of experience in reporting, analytics, and data management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within a shared service or global business service (GBS) organization. Experience in driving reporting transformation to implement strategy at an organisation level in line with the organisation’s overall strategy, vision, and objectives. Experience in leading a team of experts/centre of excellence, including setting goals, providing feedback, driving positive culture, and ensuring that team members have the necessary skills, capabilities, and resources to perform their jobs effectively and independently. Experience in developing and implementing reporting standards, including templates, processes, policies, and procedures. Experience in managing senior stakeholders: experience of a professional services type organisation would be advantageous. Experience in collaborating with other departments to ensure that management reports are aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives. Experience in driving continuous improvement in management reporting to support leaders with better decision making, including identifying areas for improvement, and introducing and implementing solutions in line with future market trends and strategic direction. Experience in financial and workforce analysis including identifying trends, analysing data, insights and making recommendations for improvement. Experience in reporting technologies and processes such as SQL server, PowerBi, Tableau, etc, including integration of data from source systems such as SAP, Service Now etc. Overall, the Head of CoE should have a strong background in management reporting, transformation, senior stakeholder management, and team management, with a focus on developing and implementing reporting standards, ensuring compliance, providing guidance and support, analysing data, and collaborating with other areas to achieve the organisation's vision and objectives. Objectives of the Reporting & Analytics role: Lead Reporting & Analytics Strategy: Define and embed the reporting and analytics vision and strategy in line with the CBS strategy and stakeholders’ needs. Ensure Operational Excellence: Streamline reporting across Central Business Services to provide accurate, timely, and relevant data and insights to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Drive Analytics led Performance: Leverage advanced analytics to identify opportunities for improvement, and processes. Governance: Implement robust data and reporting governance and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy. Foster Innovation: Explore and implement innovative approaches to data visualization, storytelling, and self-service analytics to empower business users. Skills required for the role: The ability to facilitate cross functional discussions with key stakeholders, workshops and manage subsequent activity to grow adoption and monitor results. Highly effective communicator, with the ability to gain trust and confidence at all levels and tailor their communication style dependent on the audience and stakeholders. Team player, with the ability to lead and participate in cross functional thinking around how we drive reporting strategy and capability accordingly. Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations. Proven project management and organizational skills. A passion for data and a commitment to driving business value through data-driven insights.
