Key Responsibilities: As the Infrastructure and Platform Engineering Specialist, you will be a key player in shaping the future of our client's technology infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include the design, engineering, and support of complex multi-tenant cloud environments. You will provide top-tier service to stakeholders, ensuring that solutions are aligned with and contribute to the business's strategic growth. Your role will involve planning, implementing, and supporting diverse technology initiatives, both independently and collaboratively, showcasing strong communication and organisational skills. Design, engineer, and support multi-tenant private and public cloud initiatives. Deliver exceptional service and solutions to stakeholders, enhancing business processes. Plan, implement, and support a range of new and existing technology projects. Collaborate effectively within a team and independently, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Key Qualifications: The ideal candidate is a seasoned expert in platform engineering and support, with a strong focus on the Microsoft server technology stack. You bring advanced skills in virtualisation, cloud infrastructure, and automation, with a proven track record in financial services or a similar high-demand sector. Strong industry experience, preferably in Financial Services. Deep expertise in platform engineering and support, particularly within the Microsoft server technology stack (including on-premise hardware deployments and advanced virtualisation architectures). Extensive experience with VMWare, Microsoft, and Kubernetes. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies across on-prem and cloud IaaS environments. Strong scripting/programming skills in PowerShell, Python, with familiarity in APIs and data structures such as JSON/YAML. Hands-on experience with Source Control, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, and ServiceNow. Experience with GenAI technologies, both on-premises (using Nvidia GPUs) and in public cloud environments (e.g., OpenAI, AWS). Why Join This Company?
