They focus on harnessing data to improve decision-making and operational efficiency. Job Description Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement scalable data pipelines for processing large datasets. ETL Process Management: Develop, deploy, and maintain ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity. Cloud Infrastructure: Work with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, to manage data storage, processing, and deployment. Database Management: Optimize databases for performance and scalability, ensuring data consistency across all systems. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, UX teams, and stakeholders to develop end-to-end data solutions. Documentation: Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for data engineering processes, ensuring transparency and reproducibility. New Methodologies: Research and implement new data engineering methodologies and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The Successful Applicant Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Google Cloud, and tools like Databricks. Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database management. Familiarity with Big Data tools and probabilistic programming libraries is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
