Security Architect – London/Hybrid

Security Architect – London/Hybrid Hybrid – 2 days on site Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 per annum Security Architect required for a leading client based in London. My client is currently seeking a Cyber Security Architect to come onboard and provide technical security advice and guidance across the organisation. The candidate will identify digital threats through risk assessments and some hands-on evaluations. They will participate in various change projects and be responsible for creating and disseminating customised security best practice guidelines to the broader business. Key Responsibilities: Provide security advice, requirements, and guidance for new systems or updates to existing ones, ensuring security by design. Conduct security-focused risk and hands-on assessments of new systems/services and changes to existing ones to ensure they are within risk tolerance. Collaborate with the business to review designs, ensuring alignment with existing security principles, patterns, standards, and best practices. Define, document, and implement core security patterns, standards, and guidelines in collaboration with the business. Review current security processes within your area of focus to ensure optimisation and coverage, identifying areas for improvement. Serve as the initial security point of contact for your region, directing any questions to the appropriate teams. Work with the broader security architecture team to establish and maintain a standardised approach to security. Partner with IT teams to ensure the proper security controls and measures are in place before implementation. Key Skills: Previous experience working as Security Architect/Information Security Experience of common frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO27k and MITRE Experience in using SABSA is desirable.
