Software Engineer Location: San Antonio, TX Working Model: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) Compensation: $100,000-$120,000 (depending on experience) Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to join their growing product development team. This individual will contribute to full-stack development efforts, support ongoing feature enhancements, and help build scalable software solutions for internal systems and customer-facing applications. You'll work closely with product managers, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, maintainable, and high-performing code. Key Responsibilities for the Software Engineer Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and deliver technical solutions Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment processes Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects in a timely manner Integrate third-party services and APIs with internal platforms Support the optimization and refactoring of legacy systems and services Assist in creating internal tools that improve business workflows and developer productivity Write and optimize SQL queries for application performance Maintain and enhance data models and schemas in collaboration with data engineering teams Ensure application data integrity and security practices are followed Identify opportunities to streamline development workflows and improve software performance Contribute to agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives Document technical specifications and contribute to internal knowledge sharing Preferred Skills & Qualifications for the Software Engineer Strong communication and collaboration abilities Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#) Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL Pluses for the Software Engineer Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies Education and Experience Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field 1-3 years of professional software development experience Experience in real estate tech, proptech, or enterprise SaaS is a plus Timing is everything.
