We're looking for a driven professional with an inclusive mindset to join our team as a Senior Developer (Backend) within Inventory Availability & Sourcing . As a Senior Developer on our Order Management team you will deliver services developed based on API and microservices concepts using RESTful or gRPC principles for our rapidly evolving products. You will develop solutions built for sustainability and performance, and will improve the architecture to handle our growing number of API or microservices based applications. This position is fully Remote . A day in the life as a Senior Developer (Backend) Working with business partners and product team in the definition of their requirements Leading technical design meetings and assisting defining system architecture and low-level designs Designing, developing and maintaining scalable APIs and microservices for middleware and partner applications using C#, .NET Core (3.1), node.js, bash/shell script, JSON/XML data formats Implementing industry best practices for API security, policies and versioning strategy Preparing test environments, executing system tests, and assisting with execution of user acceptance tests Performing capacity and performance testing of services. Developing detail design, technical design and unit test plan Supporting IT operations, monitor system health and metrics, system maintenance activities, incident and problem management and weekly on-call rotation etc Driving onshore-offshore coordination, deliverables & activities. What you'll bring to the table Ability to develop a technical software solution to a business problem utilized by the various business areas that need access to services supplied by an API. The ability to define the solution in verbal and documented states. Ability to create estimates for software development based on technical solutions that address business requirements. Object Oriented Programming experience (C# and .NET core experience is Experience and understanding of various databases (SQL, NoSQL). Experience in in-memory storages like Redis, Memcache etc Experience in event/message broker framework & distributed event processing & streaming platforms such as Kafka, Event Hub etc Experience in enterprise monitoring, APM and logging tools such as New Relic, Datadog etc Experience working in any public cloud platforms such as aws, gcp or azure etc. The ability to mentor/coach junior engineers in the team Experience in using or understanding the containerization of services, its orchestration, deployment, and the toolsets like Docker, Mesos, etc. We'd love to hear from you if you have 5 years of software application development experience Demonstrated logical analysis and problem solving skills Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines Strong written and oral communication skills Excellent knowledge of software application technologies College degree in an applicable field of study or comparable experience li-remote Euromarket Designs, Inc., which does business as Crate and Barrel and CB2, will be referred to as "the Company".
