Software Engineer – State Rollout Team

Job Summary:

CoverTree is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer with expertise in C# and the .NET platform to join our State Rollout team. Based in the Los Angeles, CA area, this role offers the opportunity to work on innovative systems that drive the rapid expansion of our digital insurance platform for manufactured homes—a critical solution for affordable housing for 24 Million Americans.  

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, well-versed in clean architecture and unit testing, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop and maintain systems for rolling out insurance products to new states and revising the existing states. 
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration test coverage.
• Focus on continuous improvement to ensure core systems are high-quality, reliable, and easy to maintain.
• Contribute to new features, bug fixes, and peer code reviews to uphold best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Location: Los Angeles, CA area.
• 3+ years of experience in .NET and ASP.NET Core development.
• Proficiency in web and/or mobile programming, with a curiosity for learning new technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges with curiosity and business acumen.
