The role is critical for a leading consultancy specialising in solving complex optimisation problems across various industries. What’s required of the Mathematical Optimisation Consultant? Strong experience with mathematical optimisation modelling, particularly in Linear Programming and MILP Proficiency in Python, including experience with scientific computing libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) Experience with optimisation frameworks (e.g., Pyomo, JuMP, AMPL) and commercial solvers (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi, XPRESS) Familiarity with data science techniques, including forecasting and machine learning, is advantageous
