Enterprise Architect – Lloyd’s Insurer – Permanent - £90k 15% bonus excellent benefits Embarking on a unique opportunity, my client is seeking the modernisation of the existing platform adopting a ‘Cloud First’ strategy. You will be responsible for building the roadmap for modernization working closely with heads of business to determine current and future needs. In addition to this you will be supporting ambitious growth providing recommendations to the technology strategy to support the business plans. Key Responsibilities Determining the technology system architecture and functional design needed to support and meet company business goals Setting the context, defining common elements and creating patterns and standards to apply the details at a project level Assisting management and stakeholders in evaluating the business’ mission and ensuring that the company uses its IT assets effectively Documenting the process using multiple architectural models Generating graphic representations and abstracts of the system architecture models Evaluating existing IT systems for exposure or weaknesses that could compromise performance, security or efficiency First-hand experience developing and building models based on The Enterprise Framework Previous experience of working in Insurance, particularly in the Lloyd’s Market Expertise in one cloud platform, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP Strong knowledge of architecture and integration patterns Excellent understanding of cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven architectures 5 years of experience
