Windows Automation Consultant Salary: £80,000 to £90,000 (based on candidate experience) Benefits Package: Excellent Employee Benefits Hybrid Model: Mostly remote (ad-hoc travel to London expected) Job Type: Permanent Sector : Financial Services About the Role & Client: My client, a leading UK based IT Services & Consulting organisation are seeking an experienced Platform Specialist to apply their knowledge of Automation within their global platform development team on a permanent basis. The consultant will initially be placed onto a major project with a globally operating financial organisation (approximated to last 2 years minimum) where they will apply hands-on skills in Automation and CI/CD based technologies. Team Leadership: Ideally, the candidate will have some level of team leadership experience in order to provide mentorship to less senior team members. Key Responsibilities: Act as a technical lead in the configuration management team Seeking a well-rounded consultant with strong automation skills Experience with Windows server management CI/CD pipeline management and development. Responsible for designing automation and implementing solutions and implementing IaC Candidate Experience: Strong recent professional experience within large Financial Services environments, and understanding of the workings of the sector Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022 Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Proficiency in Ansible Tower, Github, Hashicorp Packer Relevant Certifications in DevOps / Automation / Cloud Platforms etc. Excellent hands-on design and engineering skills Outstanding communication skills Services offered by Computappoint Limited are those of an Employment Business and/or Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
