Senior Business Analyst with PnL/ Position/ Treasury experience. Trading. £105,000 Base Discretionary Bonus and Benefits. My client is a top tier trading house based in Central London. They are looking for a seasoned BA with extensive experiencing across PnL, Position and Treasury. They need someone with strong SQL skills. They are undertaking a multi-year strategic transformation programme to implement a comprehensive Treasury solution to deliver a high degree of automation driving operational efficiencies, reducing risk and increasing value adding capacity. The proposed solution has two fundamental aspects (1) Implementation of a third party TMS, (2) Reporting Platform. It will require a high level of integration to a large number of vendor and proprietary systems, implementation of bespoke applications and sophisticated analytical reporting capability. The project will follow an aggressive plan for the initial implementation of the TMS followed shortly afterwards by the reporting platform As such the role requires the ability to assimilate information readily and have the technical depth to understand a complex proprietary system landscape and its functional capabilities, an understanding of key Treasury processes, of concepts and terminology relating to P&L, Finance and Position, ability to communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders at all levels, excellent analytical ability to elicit, clarify and articulate requirements clearly and comprehensively and work collaboratively with a team of developers and QA's. Experience required • Experience of working with a Treasury function within a large, fast-paced trading environment • Experience of integrating a third party system into a complex IT landscape • Exposure and understanding of P&L, Finance and Position terminology and concepts • Proficient in application of SQL and APIs for complex data analysis and troubleshooting • Experience of capturing requirements in a clear, concise and testable way Familiarity of Agile Scrum/Kanban methodology If you are interested to learn more, please send a CV for immediate consideration.
