Technical Architect - D365 CE and Power Platform The D365 CE and Power Platform Technical Architect with a developer background is responsible for designing, building, and overseeing the implementation of technical solutions that leverage Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and the Power Platform. With a strong foundation in software development, particularly in C# and .NET, this role ensures that solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with business needs. The architect will also guide development teams, provide hands-on technical leadership, and ensure adherence to best practices. Key Responsibilities: Design and architect complex solutions using Dynamics 365 CE, including customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations with other systems. Develop comprehensive technical designs and architecture documents, including data models, integration designs, and solution frameworks. Utilize Power Platform tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to build custom business applications, automate processes, and create data-driven insights. Develop custom solutions using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies to extend Dynamics 365 CE functionality. Create custom plugins, workflows, and integrations using the Dynamics 365 SDK and Power Platform tools. Implement custom connectors, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and other Azure services to integrate D365 CE with external systems. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and architecture. Lead code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce standards for custom development and solution implementation. Collaborate with other architects, functional consultants, and project managers to ensure alignment on technical solutions. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications. Conduct technical workshops and requirement-gathering sessions to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives. Design and implement data integration and migration strategies using Azure services, SSIS, or custom solutions. Technical Skills: Expertise in C# and the .NET framework, including experience with ASP.NET, Web API, and Entity Framework. Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE customization and extension capabilities, including custom entities, plugins, workflows, and web resources. Proficiency in Power Platform components, including canvas and model-driven apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI. Experience with Azure services, such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, and Service Bus. Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular (optional). Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
