Candidates must be UK residents without any working restrictions. My client is a Microsoft Gold Partner with specialisations in Azure Data & AI. Focused on retail, financial services and professional services sectors. Due to on-going growth and project-demand, they are hiring for a Principal Azure Data Consultant to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading projects from a technical point of view, ensuring retention of the highest level of quality consistently across delivery. This is a customer-facing position and strong consulting experience is essential. You will take ownership of driving relationships and spotting opportunities for further client development. Key skills and experience required: Experience with Microsoft Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric. Experience in modelling, building and managing data warehouses to store and organize large volumes of data, as well as the implementation of Lakehouse architectures. Proficiency in designing and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from different sources. Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning. Familiarity with Hadoop and Spark for large-scale data processing. Advanced knowledge of tools like Power BI for data visualisation and presentation. Strong understanding of statistical methods and their application in data analysis and predictive modelling.
