Lead Data engineer

Role : Lead Data engineer Job Type : Full Time Job Location : London Mandatory Skills : SQL, Snowflakes, DBT (Data Build Tool) Job Description:- • Good knowledge of SQL programming. • Strong knowledge of Snowflake Cloud Data warehouse. Snowflake Functions and Procedures. • Good knowledge of Python, DBT. • In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse, ETL concept and data modelling principles. • Good working knowledge of any ETL tool. • Understanding of different data formats (JSON, YAML). • Working with a cross functional build team that includes working in collaboration with stakeholders, analysts, architects and test developers. • Azure DevOps – updating and progressing DevOps users stories and tasks. • Ability in problem solving and proactively engage with other cross functional teams to help resolve issues and blockers. • Understanding of Insurance domain (P&C, Specialty Insurance) and accounting principles. Skill good to have: - • Knowledge of AWS Services, Step Function, Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, S3,Code Commit, Cloud formation etc. • Knowledge of Data Vault Methodology . • Knowledge of CI CD . • Knowledge of OLAP Cube.
