Purpose of the role: Cloud Direct are seeking a Senior Modern Workplace Consultant with a proven background in cloud computing and / or a background in on-premises IT; this is a great opportunity for an individual looking for an exciting, challenging opportunity to deliver varied and leading-edge solutions within our Modern Workplace Practice. The role of the Modern Workplace Consultant is very much a technical ‘hands-on’ role and focuses on adoption, deployment, release, and documentation of solutions. We’re looking for an ambitious individual, with a desire to learn and a passion for new technology and strong client experience. Our Senior Consultants are expected to own project deliverables and ensure that they are delivered according to scope. As well as delivering technical solution, you will be working closely with other members of the Modern Workplace Team, other disciplined Professional Service Cloud Solution Architects, Project Managers, PMO and Managed Service colleagues. There is also likely to be times where you are asked to use your knowledge to enhance our pre-sales offering. Key Responsibilities: Working with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and your Practice Area colleagues to deliver enterprise level Microsoft 365 implementation and migration. Lead the adoption and transition to Microsoft Modern Work products within customer projects. Delivery and optimisation of customer workloads into Microsoft 365, providing deployment guidance, supporting development of the customers’ cloud adoption model, and providing appropriate recommendations to overcome blockers. Ownership of project components to expected high standards and best practice. Maintain practice standards and efficiencies. Robust learning and development to ensure you achieve your maximum potential. Input into pre-sales engagements to ensure these align to deliverables. Qualifications and Experience required: A passion for M365 technologies and the desire to keep learning Experience in M365 implementation and migration projects Knowledge of M365 Security and Compliance workloads, including Endpoint Management Proven track record in delivering successful projects on time and to budget Customer facing consulting experience with excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to prioritise work and manage own time independently Ability to technically own projects through to completion High standards of technical documentation Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships Desirable: Knowledge of on-premise Active Directory, Exchange, Device Management Completion of Microsoft exams in the MS/MD-track. Completion of any SC-track exams would be advantageous. Experience in M365 migrations, across Identity, Mail and File Storage Experience of Azure Virtual Desktop/Windows 365 deployment is advantageous Knowledge of Adoption and Change Management practices What do we offer you?
