Chubb have a newly created opportunity for an accredited (IFE or IFSM) Validation & Technical Manager (Quality Manager) to join our dedicated Fire Consultancy division on a full time, permanent basis. This is a Hybrid working opportunity where you will be withi n commutable distance of BB1 2PR - Blackbu rn. Health & Wellbeing Resources What Will I Be Doing As A Quality Manager? The main goal of this role is to create and maintain quality procedures, ensuring that the department maintains an excellent reputation for quality delivery to the end user. Driving quality through the management of the validation process for our Fire Consultancy division you will be responsible for the technical validation of reports and support to our nationally based Risk Assessors, sales team and our customers. Technical validating of FRA reports and calculation checks on occupancy reports Point of contact for customer queries in relation to technical aspects Provide support & guidance to the wider team of Assessors either directly, or though utilisation of SME’s Manage the validation matrix for Assessors in relation to qualifications and ability mentor and coach Risk Assessors in the field, to ensure that all competencies are reached in order to fulfil the FRA role Creation and distribution of Technical Bulletins Manage, Maintain and update report templates within our BORIS system Action any customer queries in relation to technical aspects Build strong, credible relationships both with internal & external customers in person and via media/telephone channels Carryout at least 1 FRA per month What We Would Like You To Bring To be considered for this position you will hold accreditations with either IFE or IFSM with demonstratable experience in completing Fire Risk Assessments. Coupled with the ability to drive quality through effective people management and coaching to a large team of national Fire Risk Assessors. You will be up to date with fire legislation Be a strong Administrator / Strong IT skills Possess excellent communication (verbal and written) skills Hold a current UK driving licence
