SeniorSalesandEventsManager-VenueinSurrey JobDescription SalaryCirca£40-45k Plusbonusandtronc RolePurpose Inthisrole,youwillberesponsiblefortheentiresalesprocess,fromnewleadgenerationtopost-eventfollow-up.Deliveringrevenuegrowth,implementingeffectivesalesstrategies,promotionalcampaignsandlead-generationactivitiestodriveandexceedsalestargets. Youwillidentifynewmarketopportunitiesandrevenuestreams,includingcorporateevents,weddings,privateparties,andsocialgatherings. Youwillhaveresponsibilityforanalysingmarkettrends,competitoractivity,andclientfeedbackreportingtotheGMandBoardandmakingrecommendationsfornewinitiativesandchange. Leadingandoverseeingonthedayoperationaldelivery. KeyResponsibilities: Lead,motivate,andmanageateamprovidingguidance,support,andtrainingasneeded. Setclearsalestargetsfortheteamandprovideregularfeedback,coaching,andperformancereviews. Fosteracollaborativeteamenvironmentfocusedonachievingresultsandprovidingexceptionalcustomerservice. Organiseandleadregularteammeetingstoreviewsalesperformance,discusschallenges,improvementsandsharesuccessstories. Developandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithallclients. Youwillutiliseyourunderstandingofsocialmediaplatforms,algorithms,andwhatscurrentlytrendingtoleadthestrategyforthefunctionsmarketingandsocialmediapresence-Internallyandthroughexternalplatforms/contacts. Responsibleforcontentof3rdpartyandownbrandwebsites. Gatherandanalysecustomerfeedbackandeventtrendstoidentifyareasforserviceimprovementandnewofferings. Buildandmaintainanextensivenetworkofindustrycontacts,includingeventplanners,localbusinesses,andvendors. ProvideregularsalesreportstotheGMandboard,includingsalesfigures,revenueforecasts,andperformanceanalysis. Identifyopportunitiesforimprovingsalesefficiency,leadconversion,andoverallsalesperformance. Forecastmonthlyandannualsalesandadjuststrategiestomeetchangingbusinessconditions. Workcloselywiththeeventsandoperationsteamstoensureseamlesscoordinationofclientrequirementsandeventexecution.Thiswillincludeonthedayoversight Ensurethatthesalesteamisfullyinformedofallclientpreferencesandeventspecificationstoguaranteeasuccessfulevent. KeySkills Experience: Minimum35yearsofexperienceinSales&Eventsmanagement,inthehospitalityindustry. Leadership: Strongleadershipandteammanagementskills,withexperienceleadingandmotivatingasalesteamandfosteringacollaborative,results-drivenculture. Customer-Focused: Excellentrelationship-buildingskillswithacustomer-firstapproachtosales. NegotiationSkills: Strongnegotiationandclosingskills,withtheabilitytosecurehigh-valuecontractsandmaintainlong-termclientrelationships. CommunicationSkills: Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills,withtheabilitytocommunicateeffectivelyatalllevelsofanorganizationandwithclients.
