Technical Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager who has worked in a technical environment ? Do you have experience of Data Management, Data Migration, Data Reconciliation or Regulatory Implementation (PSD2, Basel IV) projects ? Would you like to work for a leading consultancy that specialises in Data Management & Analytics ? You will be based from their Edinburgh, London, Leeds or Manchester offices, working a mix of remote, office and client site visits. Your responsibilities will include: Manage and deliver technical projects within the data domain. Track project dependencies and develop strategies for best practice delivery. Ensure quality assurance and testing standards are met. Handle defect management and prioritise problem resolution based on risk. Deliver projects related to data management, migration, reconciliation, and regulatory implementation. Negotiate project scope and priorities with stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships and manage expectations of senior stakeholders. Implement governance, controls, and frameworks to support project delivery Essential skills: Significant experience and proficiency in Technical Project Management. SQL Development skills Strong project management experience in an agile environment. Proficiency in dependency tracking and developing strategies for best practice delivery. Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge within the data domain. Understanding of testing and quality assurance. Experience with defect management, acceptance testing, and problem resolution. Risk-based prioritisation skills. Project Delivery: Experience in areas such as Data Management, Data Migration, Data Reconciliation, or regulatory implementation (e.g., PSD2, Basel IV). Ability to negotiate project scope and priority with teams and customer stakeholders. Stakeholder Management: Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, including experience with senior stakeholders (e.g., Director level and above).
